Serving the city’s southwest quadrant, the new MAPS Senior Health & Wellness Center at 13660 S Western Ave offers ArchWell Health members a cutting-edge community hub focused on fitness, education, and wellbeing for older adults. (Address: approx. ½ mile north of 7313 S Western Ave.)

Operated by the YMCA of Greater OKC, the facility includes a heated lap & therapy pool, a fitness center, walking track, and low-impact exercise classes designed for ages 60+. Specialized aquatic therapies and senior-friendly group sessions are available by reservation.

Just a short drive north, Will Rogers Gardens (30 acres) offers paved garden loops—including the Charles E. Sparks Rose Garden and Ed Lycan Conservatory—that are ideal for relaxing walks, horticulture classes, and mindful moments outdoors.

Older adults in the area can also enjoy programming at the Will Rogers Senior Center (3501 Pat Murphy Dr), which offers art and wellness classes, book clubs, trips, dance and exercise sessions, memory cafés, and social events in a fully accessible setting

The neighborhood is serviced by Embark Route 13 (S Western/I‑240 Crosstown), offering bus access to transit hubs, local centers, and retail corridors. Older Adults aged 65+ usually ride at half fare, with some routes eligible for free transit via Embark ID.
