Our go-to snack for game day is always a dip. Dips are perfect because they are versatile. Take this buffalo dip, for example; it's great with a side of fresh vegetables and crackers or as leftovers for a sandwich.
What you will need:
- 2 cups of shredded rotisserie chicken*
- 1/2 cup of 1/3 less fat cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup fat-free sour cream or Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup Franks red hot sauce, or whatever hot sauce you like
- 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese or cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon white vinegar
*You can always use canned chicken or chicken cooked in a crockpot as a substitute for rotisserie chicken.
Instructions
- Remove the breast meat and skin from the bones on the rotisserie chicken and shred. Save the rest of the chicken for another recipe.
- Preheat the oven to 350° F.
- Place chicken in a large bowl, then mix the cream cheese, sour cream, vinegar, and hot sauce together until smooth.
- Add half of the cheese and place it in a baking dish.
- Bake 350° F until hot, about 20 to 25 minutes.
- Enjoy with fresh bell peppers or crackers.
