ArchWell Health Celebrates Grand Opening of First Florida Center

Last week ArchWell Health celebrated the opening of its first of ten new primary care centers along the Florida Gulf Coast. The celebration in Venice included live music, a ribbon cutting with the Venice Chamber of Commerce, food from local businesses, a chance to meet ArchWell Health doctors and more. Community members came out to have some fun, enjoy some snacks and learn more about ArchWell Health.

President of ArchWell Health’s clinical group and Tampa resident, Dr. Don Goddard, said, “We understand healthcare isn’t just about visiting the doctor; it’s about establishing ongoing, long-term relationships with our members. We are thrilled to be bringing this model of care to Venice residents 60 and older.”

The event featured snacks from Brew Burgers Back Porch, coffee and cannolis from Venice favorite Parise Coffee and flowers for seniors from Posies Flower Truck. A highlight of the event was Trinidude Tom’s steel drum performance. The first 100 guests also received a pair of Bluetooth headphones or a Bluetooth speaker. The Venice Chamber of Commerce honored ArchWell Health at the event and participated in a ribbon cutting for the new primary care center. 

ArchWell Health is excited to host more Grand Opening celebrations at each of its new primary care centers in Florida.

These celebrations will allow older adults, caretakers and community members to meet the doctors and care teams in each neighborhood, take a tour of the state-of-the-art primary care centers and learn more about how ArchWell Health approaches primary care for adults 60+.
