Getting lost in a short story wonderland isn’t just an enjoyable hobby for seniors, but it also can enhance your mental health, brain function, and overall happiness. Whether it’s poetry or prose, fiction or nonfiction, research indicates that avid readers may experience these health benefits.

Writers group at ArchWell Health also give members an opportunity to build friendships with each other. While reading you can talk with your neighbors and learn more about each other. During writers group meet ups, our members build community and create meaningful relationships that extend beyond the ArchWell Health center.

ArchWell Health can help coordinate transportation to this class, if needed. Refreshments and snacks will be available.
