Movement for Life: Seated Full Body

Join us for our Movement for Life series exercise class hosted by ArchWell Health South Tucson. Seated exercises are perfect for both seniors who are new to fitness classes and exercise experts. This chair exercise class will be especially helpful for:

• Older adults with balance concerns. Seated exercise allows you to raise your heart rate without needing to worry about becoming dizzy or losing your step.

• Individuals experiencing arthritis or joint pain. If standing or moving for long periods of time can cause discomfort, this chair exercise class allows you to stay off your feet.

• Seniors wanting to build strength. The exercises you will do in this class will help build your arm, leg, and back muscles in a safe way!

Some of the exercises you may do during this class include knee raises, seated arm rows, toe lifts, seated march, arm lifts and more. Your ArchWell Health care team will make sure you are comfortable with each exercise during the class.

That is why ArchWell Health hosts fun senior focused exercise classes for all fitness levels each week.

ArchWell Health can help coordinate transportation to this class, if needed.
