Embrace your inner book worm and join us for a book club hosted by ArchWell Health Peoria. We will be reading The Dutch House. All supplies are provided!
Getting lost in a page-turning novel isn’t just an enjoyable hobby for seniors, but it also can enhance your mental health, brain function, and overall happiness. Whether it’s poetry or prose, fiction or nonfiction, research indicates that avid readers may experience these health benefits.
Book clubs at ArchWell Health also give members an opportunity to build friendships with each other. While reading you can talk with your neighbors and learn more about each other. During book club meet ups, our members build community and create meaningful relationships that extend beyond the ArchWell Health center.
Refreshments and snacks will be available.
