Meet the Team
To say we’re proud of our team is an understatement. ArchWell Health has assembled a team of highly experienced healthcare industry professionals, all passionately dedicated to improving the lives of the patients we serve.
Dr. Michael Lipp, CHIEF MEDICAL OFFICER, brings over 20 years of clinical expertise, having worked across the payer-provider continuum. He has held leadership roles at industry-leading provider groups such as ChenMed and Healthcare Partners, where his activities included building a national primary care network and a home-based medical group for high risk seniors. Dr. Lipp joined ArchWell Health from the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Innovation (CMMI), where he served as the Chief Medical Officer responsible for the clinical impact and quality improvement of programs that care for over 26 million beneficiaries. Dr. Lipp is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
Chris Cavanaugh, CHIEF STRATEGY OFFICER, has over 15 years of experience in business development, acquisitions, integrations, partnerships, and strategic consulting and advisory business. He has spent the last six years developing strategic partnerships between health plans and value-based risk-taking providers across the U.S. Early in his career, Cavanaugh was a practicing attorney focusing on real estate and capital markets, and a financial analyst for a major U.S. bank.
Shana Krumwiede, CHIEF HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICER, is a proven cultural leader with over 20 years of human resources and recruitment experience. She has led progressive, nationwide HR teams at industry-leading companies including axialHealthcare, Change Healthcare, Healthways, CVS Caremark, and IBM. She offers expertise in talent acquisition and management, workplace culture, HR technology, and benefit design.
Eric Jenkins, CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER, brings over 15 years of finance and operations expertise, spanning the payer and provider markets. He comes to ArchWell Health from Humana, where he served in a number of roles working cross-functionally across the Medicare Advantage markets and care delivery organizations. Most recently he served as the Chief Operating Officer of Conviva Care Solutions, overseeing the growth and management of its nearly 100 locations throughout Florida and Texas. Earlier in his career, he was with Ernst & Young, where he was primarily focused on the healthcare industry.
Marshall Veerkamp, CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER, has over 20 years of technology and leadership experience, and since the early 2000s has held senior-level technology roles for various healthcare delivery and healthcare services organizations. During his career in healthcare, he has focused on the delivery of multi-million-dollar products and projects, and developing analytics and technology capabilities to support advanced value-based care arrangements.
Rus Beasley, VICE PRESIDENT OF DEVELOPMENT, has nearly 15 years of experience in strategic development and institutional investing, with a background in value-based, multi-site healthcare services, and commercial real estate investment. He has focused his healthcare career on market development and joint-venture partnerships in healthcare operations with physicians, health systems, and health plans.
Oliver Formanto, Vice President of Sales, is a proven sales leader with nearly 20 years of Medicare experience building and managing sales distribution. Through his hands-on leadership and ability to develop culture, he has helped grow market share of each of the teams he has led. Prior to joining ArchWell Health, he most recently brought a multi-channel sales distribution into existence for the rapidly-growing start-up Medicare Advantage company, Devoted Health. He also spent 14 years at Humana running sales teams across multiple markets throughout the country.
